Phenom AI Day: Why You Should Attend
We’re gearing up for our 3rd annual AI Day, our technology showcase for all of human resources. Our three-hour special event event will focus on the future of augmented work with GenAI and AI agents, while showcasing the latest AI innovations, practical applications for talent acquisition and management, and guidance for navigating local and global regulations.
On Talent Experience Live, host Devin Foster sat down with Director of Product Marketing John Harrington to preview what AI Day will cover, and why you don’t want to miss it – all while enjoying hot wings to spice things up! You can watch the full episode right here, or read on for the highlights.
What is AI Day?
AI Day for HR is an opportunity to discover "the full extent of [AI] capabilities that we've prepared in alignment with customer challenges," said Harrington. We’ll explore how GenAI, AI agents, and automation address the biggest issues in talent acquisition and management, diving into the inspiration behind our AI direction, its functionality, and real-world use cases. We’ll also explore the different types of AI, practical examples of how AI works throughout the entire talent journey, and the intelligent framework that powers phenomenal experiences.
6 Highlights of AI Day
1. Customer-Led Sessions
This year's event will feature an increased focus on customer experiences. As Harrington explains, "We're bringing our customers into the actual agenda and the flow for the event to talk about the now and the next." This approach will provide attendees with practical insights into how AI is being applied in HR today, touching on topics like attracting and sourcing best-fit candidates faster, and leveraging intelligence for talent development and retention.
2. AI Agents
One of the most anticipated topics is the introduction of AI agents. Harrington notes, "Agents are something that's emerged in recent time... I think one thing that's unclear about agents is how they work, how they differentiate from traditional intelligence or generative AI applications." AI Day will explore these questions and demonstrate how agents can impact HR teams in every industry.
3. Live Product Demonstrations
Attendees can look forward to seeing AI solutions for hiring, developing, and retaining talent in action. "There's going to be product demonstrations, so getting that upfront exposure to what it looks like in the flow of work and how it impacts the personas that it's intended for will be very exciting," Harrington explains. Our AI solutions are designed to address various HR challenges including:
Discovering the right candidates
Evaluating candidate fit
Optimizing job descriptions
Improving interview processes
Informing workforce planning decisions
Addressing skills gaps
Aligning talent management with organizational needs
4. Compliance and Regulations
An important focus of AI Day will be on responsible AI use. The event will cover "compliance, regulations, and how people posture themselves and their organizations appropriately to ensure that they're embracing AI responsibly and in alignment with standards," said Harrington. Attendees should leave with defensible approaches to navigate local and global regulations to help overcome the ambiguity, complexity, and fear surrounding AI.
5. Practical Applications of AI in HR
Harrington shared an example of how AI is improving efficiency in his own work when it comes to understanding consumer patterns: "What would typically take us about 30 minutes to an hour to get that full understanding, now we can potentially reduce that to a matter of minutes, maybe five to 10 minutes to get that accurate representation, undertake the analysis, and then have a polished representation that we can all use to understand better why someone bought."
During the event, we’ll explore industry trends influencing the way we work – and use practical examples and solutions to see how leading organizations are addressing their biggest hiring and retention challenges with AI technology.
6. The Future of AI in HR
While some may fear that AI will replace jobs, the focus at AI Day will be on how AI can augment and improve human work. As Harrington puts it, "If you're not thinking of ways that you can apply intelligence, you're probably not as efficient as you could be."
Phenom AI Day promises to be an insightful event for HR professionals looking to understand and leverage AI in their organizations.
